There is a power that is not about being strong. There is a power that will not get you what you really want. There is a power that will destroy you. There is a power that will take everything away from you. There is a power that lives through you and that understands you greater than you understand yourself. There is a power that is not of you. You are powerless to control it. This power is of Love. This power is of grace. This power comes from innocence. This power is sourced in being. This power you cannot have. This power you cannot achieve. This power cannot get you what you want. The power of the infinite is infinite. If somehow you have it, you will have lost all false powers. If somehow you embody it, you will have dissolved intimately with the whole. Namaste
I rest silently and drift through the heart into the unknown. My mind is expanded and amused, at its own absence. The soul flutters and diffuses its own presence. We keep living beauty and gratitude. We keep gratefully singing for all the lovers and artists whom god dances through. The freshness of the moment, a constant reminder. Passing the moon, passing the sun, in our journey. The song remains the same.
Ego does not know pain; it just knows the friction of avoiding pain. If you actually experienced pain you would know all the bliss of it.
The acceptance of your pain is the gateway from suffering to bliss. Every time you avoid pain you suffer unconsciously. Every time you meet pain and embrace it you are embracing more intimacy and freedom. Unconditioned pain and unconditional acceptance of that pain is as good as bliss and the very foundation of a liberated heart. The being knows unlimited acceptance of its limitations. The struggle of the heart to avoid limitation is the creation of suffering. Without the struggle there will be no suffering. Just an easy blissful acceptance of what is. A Blissful pain. Your argument with reality is over. Yesterday Disha and I were in our favorite café here in Bangkok Thailand enjoying a scrumptious meal. All of a sudden out of the blue someone walked by the front of the café we were in and I saw them from behind from the corner of my eye. I immediately jumped up and ran out the door and chased them down. From behind I tapped him on the shoulder and he turned around. His face exploded in joy and he said, “oh my God”. It was a close friend from fifteen years before. A sweet reunion. We spent the day together talking and connecting, a really nice connection and great fun. Namaste life.
Do what is most true. Keep doing what is most true. Keep being what is most true. Keep resting within what is most true. Keep investing in what is most true. Keep dancing within what is most true. Keep speaking what is most true. Keep seeing what is most true. Keep becoming what is most true. Commit to what is most true. Die to what is most true. Live as what is most true. Keep hearing what is most true. Keep journeying in what is most true. Surrender to what is most true. Give the whole of you to what is most true. Make love to what is most true. Be penetrated by what is most true. Nirvana ~ Non-Being
Today I woke up early with my girlfriend Disha and we got picked up and went with some other people to learn Thai cooking. We spent all day on a farm cooking Thai food and it was a total blast, so fun. And the food was exceptionally good and delicious. In fact it was better than any of the Thai restaurant food that I have tried so far. A seven-course training. Yummy. Now we just rest, at home. In a bit we will go for Thai massage to relax the body. Namaste
For me cooking is one of the great delights and meditations of life. My mother taught me to cook at a super early age all sorts of stuff including salmon, amazing soups and perfect crepes. Later my father taught me to cook all sorts of delicious seafood, pasta and salad dishes at his stylish dinner parties. Later I got to put this into practice on his fish boats while working for his company as a cook and skiff man. A lot of the crew was not so into Thai food and pasta so I had to learn to bake roasts and chickens and make somewhat regular food.
With the money I saved from working as a fisherman on the west coast of Canada I was able to start traveling the world and live in exotic places for me like India and Thailand where my cooking repertoire expanded significantly as a result of one of my guru's insisting that I make cooking one of my primary meditations. I asked my Aya (cleaning lady) in India to teach me how to make my favourite dishes and picked up Thai cooking from a couple of good books. Salads are just an art in themselves too and take a certain love and delicacy for freshness and quality. I learned Italian basic cooking from Osho's photographer who now has a book out on the subject of cuisine and meditation, and has a Japanese Italian restaurant in Goa. To cook well is to love well. To love to cook is a great meditation of devotion. Each moment carries such perfection. Each moment carries such intimacy. Each time you open your eyes you are met with an infinite universe. Each time you go within you are met by the eternal. The whole of you is true. In surrendering to what is, you become what is. The search for right understanding is a gradual realization of being. In surrender to what is, sudden realization of being. Go get it before it comes and gets you. The language of mind has many limits. The Language of the Butterfly has no limits. Namaste
